- Is this felt?
Yes, I use mostly 100% wool designer felt and in some cases other types of wool, such as recycled coats and sweaters.
- How do you work?
I think only once or twice have I planned out one of my pieces on paper in advance. I always plunge right into the felt with my scissors and start cutting.
For my more organic shapes (flowers, people) I cut everything out by hand with scissors, while for the more geometric shapes I use custom dies.
I either sew or glue parts together, depending on the piece. I like the movement and depth I can achieve by pulling more or less on the thread when sewing, but in other cases that movement doesn’t work so I use glue, which, although it may sound less romantic, allows for much neater and better controlled shapes.- How do I clean it?
If necessary you can spot clean lightly with soap and water using a sponge. Although it’s all right if these pieces get a little wet, you definitely shouldn’t put them in the washing machine!

- How does shipping work?
Shipping to the U.S. is a flat $6 for all orders up to $150, while for orders over $150 shipping is FREE! All our orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and should take 5-10 days to arrive.
- Do you ship internationally?
Shipping to Canada, Mexico and Western Europe is a flat $20 regardless of order. Shipping method will depend on the order and the country. Keep in mind that orders shipped outside the U.S. could be subject to customs duties in the destination country. To determine shipping costs to other countries add the item to your cart, select the country in the checkout process and press the “Update” button.
- What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason you may return it within 10 days of receiving it, in its original condition, and we will refund the cost of the order, minus the shipping charges. Please contact us about the return before sending it in.
